Brave

Brave is my one little word for the year.  I am not a brave person. I shy away from things that scare me. I want to try new things but to do that I have to be brave. The first brave thing I am going to do seems kinda silly. I am going to learn to paint. I have wanted to learn for years. What has always stopped me is being afraid that I am going to tottally suck at it and it will be a big waste of time and money. I am going to paint at least one picture a month. Hopefully they will all turn out at least ok. That leads me to another thing I have to be brave about. Learning to accept that painting is art. Some people might LOVE it and other might hate it. But I have to be brave enough to show it off. That will be one of the hardest things for me.
